How it works
Every day the agent reads the official circulars and notifications of EPFO, ESIC, the Income Tax Department (CBDT), the Ministry of Labour and the states’ professional tax and minimum wage pages. Each new document is summarised in plain words with the date it takes effect, who it applies to and what to do, always with the official link. It is matched to your company using what flowwork knows (PF and ESI coverage, the states you have people in, headcount), so you only hear about changes that apply to you. Changes taking effect within 30 days are sent right away; the rest come in a weekly digest. When a document is unclear, it says so and suggests checking with your CA instead of guessing.

Safe by design
- Hired, not switched on. Your admin hires each agent from the catalogue and chooses who can use it.
- Agents propose, people confirm. Anything that changes data, like a leave request, waits for a person to confirm it.
- Same access as the user. An agent sees only what the person asking is allowed to see.
- AI processing in India. Agents run on models hosted in India (AWS Mumbai).
- Budgets and a hard stop. Set a monthly credit limit per agent; agents stop when credits run out.
- Every run recorded. Admins see each run, the credits it used and what it did.

Can the Compliance watcher change data on its own?
No. It never does the following: change payroll settings, rates or slabs.

No credits: each change is read once for every company. Hiring it uses none of your AI credits; it only needs a flowwork.ai plan.
Where is the data processed?
Agents run on AI models hosted in India and see only what the person using them is allowed to see. Admins see every run and the credits it used.
